Jennifer Murphy is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has been working with children, adolescents, adults and families for nearly 20 years. Jennifer specializes in working with adolescents who struggle with anxiety and depression and uses her advanced DBT training to support this work. Jennifer rejoins Shoreline Psychological as an independent contractor after working with Dr. Lipschutz, co-facilitating the very first Multi-Family DBT Skills groups on the Shoreline.

Jennifer received her MSW degree from Southern Connecticut State University in 2002. Since that time she has worked in a variety of settings and levels of care including private practice, extended day treatment, psychiatric residential treatment and inpatient hospitals. She currently works as a school social worker for an in-district alternative high school setting in Fairfield, CT. Jennifer serves on the Board of Directors at Guilford Youth and Family Services. She lives in Guilford with her husband and three boys.
